Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 approval verifies its charging capability.

Xiaomi is set to launch the Mix Flip 2, which has received 3C certification in China, indicating it will feature a 67W wired charger, the same as its predecessor. The Mix Flip 2 could be unveiled in May 2024, following the original’s timeline. It is expected to have a global release, as the model has also been certified in Europe. Rumored specs include a 5,100 mAh battery, IPX8 water resistance, an improved crease, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a slim 7.6 mm profile, weighing 190g. Notably, it may replace the telephoto camera with a 50 MP ultrawide lens.

Xiaomi introduced the Mix Flip in July of last year, and it is now in the process of developing its successor. The Mix Flip 2 has recently received certification for sale in China by 3C, indicating that it will feature a 67W wired charger.

This suggests that it will support 67W wired charging, identical to what its predecessor offered. Notably, the original Mix Flip obtained its 3C certification in May of 2024, so if the timelines are consistent, we might see the Mix Flip 2 launched in May this year, at least in China.

There’s no need to worry, as earlier rumors indicate that the Flip 2 will be available globally, much like the initial Flip. In fact, the global model has already been certified in Europe, adding further credence to this claim.

While the 3C certification does not disclose any additional specifications, it has been rumored that the Mix Flip 2 will feature a 5,100 mAh battery, IPX8 water resistance, an enhanced crease, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, all housed in a 7.6 mm form factor (when unfolded). The device is expected to weigh 190g. Interestingly, it is said to replace the telephoto camera found in the Mix Flip with a 50 MP ultrawide lens.
