The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to be unveiled in China tomorrow alongside the SU7 Ultra EV, with a global launch on March 2. In anticipation of these announcements, the company has been heavily promoting the device, and today they even released an official teardown video of the phone.
You can view the video below, but please be aware that it is in Chinese. Regardless, we can take a closer look at the device and its impressive camera features.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera utilizing Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor, which was first introduced in the vivo X100 Ultra last year and has since been included in the X200 Pro; it is also expected to be part of the upcoming vivo X200 Ultra.
This camera will be outfitted with a specially crafted 24-layer ultra-low reflection glass, which reportedly decreases reflectivity to just 1.5%. This enhancement also contributes to increased scratch resistance.
The main camera will once again utilize a 1″ type sensor, similar to that of the 15 Ultra’s predecessors. These specifications have already been confirmed by the company. Furthermore, rumors suggest that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
