The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is launching globally after its introduction in China, featuring a 5,410mAh battery compared to the Chinese model’s 6,000mAh. It offers a range of colors in Europe: White, Black, and a Silver Chrome edition. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, boasts a 6.73-inch AMOLED display, and includes advanced camera systems. The global Xiaomi 15 also debuts with a slightly smaller battery and similar specs. Both models start at competitive prices with the Xiaomi 15 at €1,000 and the 15 Ultra at €1,500, available for purchase on March 4.
Just a few days after its launch in China, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to make its debut worldwide. However, the global version comes with a few subtle modifications.
While the Chinese version features a 6,000mAh battery, the global variant has a slightly smaller 5,410mAh battery. Nonetheless, the charging capabilities remain impressive, supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless HyperCharge.
Another distinction lies in the color options. In Europe, consumers can choose from White, Black, and a special Silver Chrome edition. Unfortunately, the Pine Green special edition is exclusively available in China.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite and offers up to 16GB of RAM. It features an aluminum frame, and the display is protected by Xiaomi’s Shield Glass 2.0, which is claimed to be 16 times more resistant to cracking from falls based on the company’s testing. The back utilizes a special glass fiber material, with the black version showcasing a textured finish, while the white variant features a circular etched design.
The device features a stunning 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200x1440px, a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120Hz, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits.

The main camera retains the same 50MP LYT-900 1-inch sensor but uses a fixed f/1.63 lens instead of a variable aperture. Additionally, there are two zoom cameras—a 70mm f/1.8 lens supported by a 1/1.251-inch Sony IMX858 sensor, and a new 100mm f/2.6 telephoto lens backed by the 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung HP9 sensor. Lastly, the ultrawide camera has been upgraded to a 14mm f/2.2 lens with a 1/1.251-inch Samsung JN5 sensor.
On the front, there’s a 21mm f/2.0 selfie camera equipped with a 32MP sensor.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15 also makes its global appearance today, but it features a different battery size compared to its Chinese variant. The global Xiaomi 15 is equipped with a 5,240mAh battery, while the Chinese version offers a 5,400mAh battery.
This model showcases a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1200x2670px and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with the same “shatterproof glass” protection found on the Ultra. Similar to its premium counterpart, the Xiaomi 15 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 16GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi 15 sports a versatile camera setup. Its main camera features a 23mm f/1.6 lens with a 50MP 1/1.31-inch sensor. The zoom functionality is provided by a 60mm f/2.0 camera utilizing a 1/2.51-inch Samsung JN5 sensor, accompanied by a 14mm f/2.2 ultrawide camera. For selfies, it includes a 22mm f/2.0 lens with a 32MP sensor.
