Besides his traditional all-white mustache, the pro wrestler chose an unconventional two-tone beard style, featuring a stark white mustache accompanied by a black, stubbly beard.
Fans on social media had a plethora of opinions about Hogan’s new look, with X users labeling it “goofy,” “unfortunate,” and “stupid.”
Hogan, 71, also appeared “older” to some viewers, who pointed out that his skin seemed “saggy” in the footage, while another user remarked that he looked “rough” recently.
Another fan suggested it might be time for Hogan to stop dyeing his beard, while another commented that it seemed like he was “trying too hard.”
“It’s just terrible, that’s all,” one commenter remarked.
However, many of Hogan’s fans came to his defense on X, with one saying, “I’ll cut Hulk some slack. The guy is 70 years old (actually 71).”
“The Hulkster can do his own thing. By the way… He looks better at 70 than the negative commenters do at 30,” another supporter rebuffed.
