The 30-second surveillance video depicted the victim alongside another woman and two children as they crossed the expressway during the night. The woman had made it to the second lane when a car struck her and sped away.
The collision propelled her several feet into the air, and she landed on the ground three lanes away, while the other woman and children, who were following closely behind, narrowly avoided a similar fate. The footage also captured a man rushing to her aid.
