According to the official “SNL” social media pages, Scarlett Johansson is set to host Episode 19 of Season 50.
Married to “Weekend Update” co-host Colin Jost, Johansson will grace the stage for the seventh time. Her hosting debut was on January 14, 2006.
Johansson, who is starring in the upcoming film “Jurassic Park Rebirth,” met her “Weekend Update” co-anchor husband on the “SNL” set. They tied the knot in 2020 and have one child together, while Johansson has another from her previous marriage to businessman Romain Dauriac.
Following the May 17 episode, she will become the most frequent female host in the history of the show, surpassing Drew Barrymore and Tina Fey. With 17 episodes, Alec Baldwin holds the record as the most frequent male host, closely followed by Steve Martin with 16 appearances, as reported by NBC.
