Call of Duty: Warzone has evolved through new features and balancing shifts, maintaining its core focus on strategic gameplay and precise gunplay. However, distractions have occasionally affected gameplay pacing. To address this, we are introducing significant weapon damage buffs, initially targeting the Black Ops 6 weapons and later extending to legacy ones, aiming to enhance encounter lethality, revive underused weapon classes, and promote more strategic player engagement.

Call of Duty: Warzone was crafted to embody the true essence of a Call of Duty Battle Royale, merging outstanding, precise gunplay with a strategic and intense “limited life” gameplay experience. While this foundational principle still holds, certain distractions have occasionally affected the intended flow and intensity of the game.
Building on our recent tweaks, like the reduction of Armor reserves to enhance economic pacing, we will be implementing significant boosts to weapon damage. Initially, these upgrades will target the Black Ops 6 weapon catalog, with plans to extend them to legacy weapons afterwards.
Our aim with these modifications is to heighten the lethality of every encounter, breathe new life into underused weapon classes, and inspire players to adopt a more thoughtful and deliberate approach when preparing for battles.
