The vivo T4x was officially launched in India today, as the company had announced last week. This budget-friendly smartphone boasts a significant battery as its primary selling feature.

The T4x is equipped with a Dimensity 7300 chipset, along with options of 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. Its display is a 6.72” LCD featuring Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1,050 nits.

On the rear, the camera setup includes a 50 MP main shooter and a dynamic light that serves as a notification indicator or provides extra illumination for portrait photography. The front camera is an 8 MP lens, located behind a punch hole.

With a battery capacity of 6,500 mAh, this marks a first for the vivo T series. While a few iQOO and Y series devices have this capacity, it appears that the T4x is the first instance of such a large battery in a vivo phone outside of China.

The battery supports 44W wired charging. The manufacturer has also designed the device to be IP64-rated for water and dust resistance, and it holds a MIL-STD-810H certification for military-grade durability.
