The iQOO brand from vivo unveiled a new set of TWS earbuds over the weekend, named Buds 1i. This audio accessory resembles the vivo Buds 3i available in China but comes in a fashionable yellow and black color scheme.
The iQOO Buds 1i can be purchased in both China and internationally, but there are two variants. The model in Indonesia boasts a 50-hour battery life, while consumers in the domestic market are limited to 45 hours.
Notably, the vivo Buds 3i are also offered (only in China) in these two battery capacities, indicating that the company has simply launched a new color option under the iQOO branding.
The iQOO Buds 1i come with IP54 water and dust resistance, along with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, which ensures an 88 ms low latency in Gaming mode. The earbuds are equipped with a 10 mm audio driver made from high polymer composite material, delivering a “mega bass,” clear vocals, and crisp highs.
On the software side, vivo typically provides AI noise reduction, which is also included in the iQOO Buds 1i. The international version supports Google Assistant and features Google Fast Pair for rapid connections to any Android device.
The iQOO Buds 1i are available on the vivo Indonesia website in one color – Star Light (the Yellow and Black version). The price is IDR 349,000 (approximately $21/€18) for the 50-hour variant, while the 45-hour version in China is priced at CNY 95, which translates to around $13/€11.
