Visuals and specifications for Motorola Razr 60 indicate a more compact inner screen and improved IP rating.

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is anticipated alongside the standard Razr 60, which will feature a smaller 6.7” P-OLED HDR10+ foldable display, down from the 6.9” display on the Razr 50. It will come in three colors: Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Lightest Sky, and Spring Bud. The device is expected to be compact and may include an IP48 rating for durability. It will boast a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery and maintain the 30W charging rate. Performance upgrades are minimal, with a new Dimensity 7400X chipset, while camera specs will feature a 50MP main and a 32MP selfie camera. The Razr 60 series could launch in a couple of months.

Numerous leaks have surfaced regarding the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, and now we have an in-depth report for the standard model. Renders depict it in three color options: Pantone Gibraltar Sea (featuring a “nylon-inspired” texture), Pantone Lightest Sky (with an acetate finish), and Spring Bud.

The partnership between Motorola and Pantone continues with the Pantone-validated P-OLED HDR10+ foldable display featured in the Motorola Razr 60.

Notably, the display will be a smaller 6.7” panel, reduced from 6.9” on the Razr 50 and 40. As far as we know, the Ultra will retain the 6.9” display, creating a clearer distinction between the two Razr models.

While we don’t have precise dimensions for the standard Razr 60 yet, the smaller display suggests a more compact device overall. This raises the question of whether the cover display will also be smaller. There are no specifics on that front (the Razr 50 had a 3.6” display, and the 50 Ultra featured a 4.0” one).

Reports indicate that Motorola has improved the durability of the Razr. If true, the Razr 60 will be the first non-Samsung device to achieve an IP48 rating. The “4” is significant as it denotes protection against small particles (though not as tiny as dust). Additionally, the 6.7” inner display can register touches even when wet.

Despite the Razr 60 being more compact than the 50 model, it will house a slightly larger 4,500mAh battery (compared to 4,200mAh on the previous model), while keeping the 30W charging rate (with wireless charging details yet to be confirmed).

Sadly, Motorola hasn’t significantly enhanced the phone’s performance – the Razr 60 is set to utilize the Dimensity 7400X, which is nearly identical to the 7300X found in the Razr 50. The chipset will come with up to 12GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and up to 512GB of storage, indicating minimal changes in this area.

Camera details remain limited, but it appears that Motorola will stick with a similar foundational setup – a 50MP main camera with OIS (the new sensor is said to improve low-light performance) and an upgraded ultra-wide camera (resolution still unknown). The front-facing camera will feature a 32MP sensor.

The Razr 50 series debuted in late June, suggesting we may be about two months away from the launch of the Razr 60 series. We expect to gain more insights in the upcoming weeks.
