Just days after a noticeable bruise was seen on the back of US President Donald Trump’s hand, a few new marks seem to have emerged on his palm. These new marks were observed on the US leader’s hand on Monday afternoon during a White House event concerning an investment from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC).
The marks—two dark red spots on his palm—resembled bruises.
These observations have ignited discussions on social media regarding the US President’s health.
“Once again, there are sores on the palm of Trump’s right hand, the same one that is often bruised on top. This was captured directly from the TV during his news conference today. He isn’t healthy. He’s declining, and he knows it,” stated one user.
Another user queried, “What are these strange marks on Donald Trump’s palm/hand?”
One X user remarked, “I wonder if this mark on Trump’s hand is gangrene. People with dementia face that issue.”
Additionally, a video showing Trump having difficulty exiting his golf cart has stirred further health-related speculations among social media users. In the video, the US President can be seen taking his time to disembark from his golf cart, dragging one of his legs and wobbling for a few moments.

Meanwhile, the back of Trump’s hand still bore the bruise observed last week during his meeting with world leaders. However, the White House reportedly explained that the bruise was a result of Trump “shaking hands”.
“President Trump is a man of the people. His commitment is unwavering, and he demonstrates that every single day…President Trump has bruises on his hand because he’s always working and shaking hands all day, every day,” stated White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Reports from NBC News indicate that the US President has had visible bruises on his right hand previously, including twice last year. Even then, the Republican leader maintained that he acquires the marks from shaking hands with thousands of people, as reported.
