US President Donald Trump has put a hold on aid to Ukraine as of Monday, an official informed AFP, significantly increasing pressure on Kyiv to pursue peace talks with Russia.
“The President has made it clear that his focus is on achieving peace. It is crucial that our partners share that commitment as well. We are currently pausing and assessing our aid to ensure it is effectively contributing to a resolution,” a White House official stated in a short statement while requesting anonymity.
