To fill his position, Kovai Kings acquired Siddarth for INR 8.4 lakh. Siddarth, nephew of national selector S Sharath, has also entered the IPL with a INR 30 lakh contract with Chennai Super Kings. Additionally, he represented India Under-19s in the 2024 50-overs Asia Cup.
