The iPhone Fold is rumored to feature a cover display equipped with a hole-punch selfie camera. Interestingly, the inner folding screen is said to include an under-display selfie camera, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6.
The foldable device will also integrate a side-mounted Touch ID fingerprint sensor, with no support for Face ID. While the screen sizes have slightly decreased compared to the prior prototype, their resolutions and aspect ratios remain unchanged.
Clearly, Apple has ample time to finalize the specifications for the iPhone Fold, so many of these features could evolve in the coming months. Still, it’s intriguing to see the company pursue the under-display camera technology.
