The Honor 400 is set to launch in Malaysia.

The Honor 400 series, following the China-exclusive 300 series, is set to debut globally, starting with Malaysia. The Honor 400 and 400 Pro promise advanced AI imaging and a rumored 200MP camera setup. The standard model features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, a 6.55” OLED display, and a 5,300mAh battery. The Pro variant boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a larger 6.7” display. The Honor 400 Lite recently launched in Austria for €300. Speculations suggest the Honor 400 could retail for around MYR 2,150 in Malaysia. An official reveal is expected later this month.

The Honor 300 series remained exclusive to China, while the 400 series is set to make a global impact – the Honor 400 Lite was unveiled a month ago in Austria, and the standard 400 model is “coming soon” to Malaysia.

Honor Malaysia has taken to social media to tease “Next-Gen AI Imaging” along with a glimpse of a three-camera configuration. Rumors suggest that both the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will feature 200MP cameras.

The Honor 400 is making its debut in Malaysia soon

The standard model is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, accompanied by 12GB of RAM. It is expected to feature a 6.55” “1.5K” OLED display and a 5,300mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Pro model will likely include a more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a larger 6.7” display, and a 50MP telephoto camera. This is all alleged, of course.

The Honor 400 Lite debuted in Austria at €300 for the 8/256GB variant (€270 for early birds). In Malaysia, a similar 12/256GB model retails for MYR 1,300 (with an early bird price of MYR 1,100). Converting MYR 1,300 gives us about €270, making the Malaysian price 10% lower than the European counterpart. A recent leak has suggested the Honor 400 may be priced at €500 for the 8/256GB variant, and after deducting 10% and converting to ringgit, we arrive at MYR 2,150.

This remains speculative – the official announcement is expected later this month, so we’ll need to watch Honor’s social media for the exact date. It remains uncertain whether both the Honor 400 and 400 Pro will launch in Malaysia or just one of them.
