At Computex 2023 in Taiwan, Tecno unveiled its new AI-powered laptop lineup, highlighted by the flagship Megabook S16. This 16-inch model features an Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU with 14 cores, 16 or 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB SSD. It boasts a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution display with thin bezels, covers 100% of the sRGB gamut, and weighs just 1.3 kg. The 75Wh battery promises about 11 hours of usage. Equipped with AI utilities like AI Gallery and Ella AI Assistant, Tecno has not yet announced pricing or availability for the new models.
At this year’s Computex in Taiwan, Tecno unveiled a range of new AI-enhanced laptops. The flagship model, Megabook S16, boasts a 16-inch display and is accompanied by the Megabook S14, T14 Air, K155, and K14S. Notably, the S16 marks the company’s first venture into 16-inch laptops.
This laptop is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900HK CPU featuring 14 cores and 20 threads, capable of reaching speeds up to 5.4 GHz. It supports either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offers storage options of up to 2TB with PCIe 3.0 SSD.
The 16-inch display is designed with ultra-thin bezels and provides a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200px with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display covers the full 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
The Megabook S16 is impressively lightweight for a 16-inch device, weighing in at just 1.3 kg and measuring a slender 14.9mm in thickness.
It is powered by a 75Wh battery, which Tecno claims will provide up to 11 hours of usage.
As previously mentioned, this laptop features various AI-driven capabilities, including AI Gallery, AI Meeting Assistant, Ella AI Assistant, AI PPT, and AI Drawing. The convenient AI assistant, powered by DeepSeek’s V3 model, is readily available to assist with both online and offline tasks.
Tecno has not yet disclosed the pricing or availability of its new laptop lineup.
