The 60 SE variant boasts a 6.7″ display with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Its Nxtpaper screen is designed with an anti-glare coating and offers three modes to minimize eye strain while reading. One notable feature is Max Ink Mode, which allows for up to 7 days of reading thanks to its energy-efficient design.
TCL has integrated several AI features into the 60 SE, developed in collaboration with Microsoft. The device is equipped with a 50 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera on the back. At MWC, TCL representatives confirmed that the phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The TCL 60 SE Nxtpaper 5G offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, priced at €189. It will be available in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
The company is also planning to release a more basic version of the 60 SE without the Nxtpaper display and featuring an LTE-only chipset, though details regarding its pricing and availability are still pending.
The TCL 60 R features similar specifications, with a 6.7″ screen boasting HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate; however, it lacks Nxtpaper technology. Instead, it includes Nxturbo, a hardware optimization that enhances app launch speed, image loading, and scrolling smoothness.
This model is powered by a “high-speed 5G chipset,” identified as the Dimensity 6300. It features a 50 MP main camera alongside an 8 MP selfie camera, with a robust battery capacity of 5,200 mAh. Notably, it comes with improved splash resistance, a feature that fans of budget smartphones will appreciate.
The TCL 60 R 5G comes with 4 GB of RAM (upgradable to 12 GB) and 128 GB of internal storage, priced at €119, and will also be sold in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
