Divorce rumors between actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been dispelled by Sunita, who affirmed their unbreakable bond. She explained their separate living arrangements stem from Govinda’s political career and family dynamics, as their daughter grew up with many party workers visiting their home. Sunita emphasized their comfort and freedom in their current setup, stating they occupy two different residences—her and the children in one flat, while Govinda stays in a bungalow, often after late meetings. Their marriage, which began in 1987, has since welcomed two children, Tina and Yashvardhan.

The internet has been buzzing with rumors about the potential divorce of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja. However, the actor’s wife has dismissed all the speculation.
Sunita stated that there is no one who can come between her and Govinda.
She expressed, “Alag-alag rehne ka matlab yeh hai ki jab unhone politics join ki thi, tab hamari beti badi ho rahi thi, aur uss samay kai karyakarta ghar par aate the. [Living separately means that when he entered politics, our daughter was growing up and many party workers used to visit our home.]”
She continued, “Ab jab beti jawan ho gayi hai, hum ghar mein aaram se shorts pehen kar ghoomte hain, isliye humne samne hi ek office le liya tha. Agar iss duniya mein koi mai ka laal mujhe aur Govinda ko alag kar sakta hai, toh samne aakar dikhaye. She revealed that she and Govinda mostly live separately, as he often stays at his bungalow after late meetings and events.
“We have two homes; we have a bungalow right across from our apartment. I have my temple and our children in the flat. We reside in the flat, while he returns late after his meetings. He enjoys conversing and often gathers a group of ten people to chat. Meanwhile, my son, daughter, and I live together, but we hardly communicate because I believe excessive talking wastes your energy,” Sunita Ahuja said.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja wed in March 1987. The couple announced their marriage in 1988, after welcoming their daughter Tina. Later, they had a son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
