In a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live to promote her Netflix special, Silverman, 54, revealed to host Andy Cohen that Anderson seemed displeased with her over past jokes made during the 2005 roast at a recent Hollywood event.
Cohen, 56, brought up Anderson while discussing Silverman’s career, mentioning her cameo in a 2002 episode of Anderson’s action-comedy series V.I.P.
“I will share something about Pam Anderson, who I believe doesn’t like me, which surprised me,” Silverman said, reflecting on her brief appearance on V.I.P.. She recounted attending “a grand Hollywood gala last year” as Sacha Baron Cohen’s date after his divorce from Isla Fisher in April 2024.
“So I attended the event, and she was there, with the connection to [the film] Borat and my roasting of her on V.I.P.,” Silverman explained. Cohen offered to introduce her to Anderson, but when they met, Anderson reportedly rejected the friendly greeting. “She glanced at me and said, ‘Oh yeah. You told terrible jokes about me on my roast,’ then turned and walked away, which left me feeling heartbroken,” Silverman recounted.

Comedy Central posted a video on YouTube featuring highlights from Silverman’s roast performance, during which she humorously referenced Anderson’s model looks and her infamous sex tape with Lee from the 1990s.
“Many people say, ‘Oh, Pam Anderson wouldn’t be anyone without her breasts,'” Silverman quipped during the roast. “That’s simply not accurate. She would still be Paris Hilton.”
