Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy M56, a new mid-range smartphone, in India on April 17, available through Amazon. The phone features a slim 7.2mm design, weighing 180g, and boasts a 12 MP front camera for HDR selfie videos. It includes Gorilla Glass Victus for a brighter screen with slimmer bezels, and a triple rear camera system featuring a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro lens. The device will support AI features like Object Eraser and Image Clipper, powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset and running Android 15 with 8GB of RAM.
Samsung is poised to unveil a new mid-range smartphone in India called the Galaxy M56. This device will be available for purchase on Amazon, where a dedicated teaser microsite has already been launched.
The microsite announces the launch date as April 17 and introduces the tagline for this model: “the monsterest monster”. With a thickness of 7.2mm and a weight of 180g, the phone also features HDR capabilities for selfie videos via its 12 MP front-facing camera.
The device is equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus protecting its display, which is 33% brighter and has 26% slimmer bezels compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the Galaxy M56 boasts a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera.
The phone will also support AI functionalities such as Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Edit Suggestions.
Earlier this month, the Galaxy M56 was identified in the Geekbench database, featuring the Exynos 1480 chipset alongside 8GB of RAM. The prototype observed was running Android 15.
