Samsung Good Lock begins global rollout on the Play Store

Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite is now available globally on the Google Play Store. Initially launched as a Galaxy Store exclusive, it transitioned to an early access beta last year before the finalized version was released. However, users must have a Samsung phone running One UI 7, specifically a Galaxy S25 or select Galaxy S24 devices. The One UI 7 rollout for the S24 series was recently paused due to bugs, with no official timeline for resumption. Samsung is reportedly addressing these issues to continue the rollout.

However, there is a stipulation: you must have a Samsung phone operating on One UI 7. Currently, this applies to the Galaxy S25 series, or for a fortunate few, the Galaxy S24 series devices.

As a quick reminder, Samsung began the stable rollout of One UI 7 for the S24 series last week but had to pause it due to various bugs affecting multiple devices. There has been no official word regarding when the One UI 7 rollout will resume, but it’s clear that Samsung’s software team is diligently working to resolve these issues and continue the rollout.
