Recent CAD-based renders reveal updates on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7, notably featuring a larger cover display that nearly fills the phone’s upper half and incorporates two cameras. This modern design aligns with trends seen in other brands, preventing the Flip7 from appearing outdated. The cover display is expected to measure around 4 inches. The device may be powered by either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung’s Exynos 2500, featuring a 6.8-inch inner screen, a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and options of 12GB RAM with 256/512GB storage. Dimensions are 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm.
In the past week, we caught our first glimpse of the forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 through some CAD-based renders, and today the same source has provided an update. The main change is in the cover display, which has significantly increased in size, essentially occupying the entire top half of the device and even integrating the two cameras.
This design concept is not entirely new, as we’ve seen similar approaches from other manufacturers, but it’s exciting to observe Samsung embracing this trend. Without this update, the Flip7 would have seemed outdated right from its launch, which wouldn’t be ideal.
The cover display is expected to be around 4 inches. The images showcased above and below illustrate the new design for the cover display, which certainly lends the device a more contemporary aesthetic.
Powering the Flip7 will likely be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung’s Exynos 2500. It’s anticipated to feature a 6.8-inch inner display, a 50 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, 12GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The dimensions will be 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm (9.1 mm at the camera bumps).
