Xiaomi has launched the globally available Pad 7 Pro, which comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable and optional accessories, including the magnetically paired Focus Pen stylus. To enhance productivity, Xiaomi offers two keyboard options: the premium Pro Focus Keyboard with a glass trackpad and the more affordable Pro Keyboard without a trackpad. The Pad 7 Pro features a 0.2-inch larger, 800 nits bright display, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, with options of 8GB or 12GB RAM and faster UFS 4.0 storage. The battery is slightly bigger at 8,850mAh with 67W charging. A review is forthcoming.
Xiaomi has just launched the Pad 7 Pro for global markets, and we have received a unit for review along with its official accessories.
In Europe, the tablet is packaged with only a USB-A to USB-C cable. You can also purchase the Focus Pen stylus designed for the tablet; pairing is simple—just place it on the magnetized edge of the device, and it will connect automatically.

Xiaomi aims to transform the 11-inch tablet into a fully functional personal computer and has introduced two keyboard options along with a cover case to assist in this endeavor.
The Pro Cover is the same smart origami-style product Xiaomi previously offered for the Pad 6S Pro. It features a pleasant PU leather finish and provides substantial protection as well as convenience.

The Pro Focus Keyboard serves as Xiaomi’s alternative to the Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro. It includes a raised magnetic pad for the tablet and a full QWERTY keyboard with a glass trackpad below. While it may feel a bit cramped compared to a regular laptop, it certainly enables the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro to handle some web-based tasks effectively.

If you don’t need a trackpad, you can opt for the Pro Keyboard, which is a more economical choice. Although it may not feel as premium as the Pro Focus model, its QWERTY keys are still quite comfortable for typing.
Xiaomi has taken a straightforward approach with the Pad 7 Pro upgrade. The display has increased by 0.2 inches and is now brighter at 800 nits compared to 550 nits, all while maintaining the 144Hz IPS LCD design. The SoC has been upgraded to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3—better than the 8+ Gen 1 found in the Pad 6 Pro—and still offers the same RAM options of 8GB or 12GB. The storage is now faster, utilizing UFS 4.0 (except for the 128GB version, which remains at UFS 3.1).
The battery retains a charging speed of 67W but has been increased in size to 8,850mAh, which is 250mAh larger than before.
