Realme Reveals Additional Information and Pricing Details for the Narzo 80 Pro and Narzo 80x

Realme India will launch the Narzo 80 Pro on April 9, featuring the Dimensity 7400 chipset, touted as the “fastest gaming chipset under 20K.” It includes a vapor chamber for cooling, although claims of a 20°C temperature drop seem exaggerated. The device sports a bright 4,500 nits peak display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6,000mAh battery, enabling 12 hours of gaming and over 18 hours of video playback. With 80W fast charging, users can achieve 3 hours of playtime in just 10 minutes. Additionally, the Narzo 80x will also debut the same day, targeting a budget-friendly segment.

Realme India has scheduled the official launch of the Narzo 80 Pro for April 9, which falls on Wednesday next week. The company has, however, shared additional insights regarding the device, particularly its focus on gaming.

As indicated last week, the Realme Narzo 80 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 7400 chipset. Realme touts it as the “most advanced and rapid gaming chipset priced under 20K.” The chipset features a vapor chamber for cooling, which spans 6,050mm²; promotional materials claim a 20°C reduction in temperature, although that seems overly optimistic and likely a misprint (we lean towards a 2°C drop).

The device also comes with an exceptionally bright display of 4,500 nits (peak) – a curved screen featuring 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. It operates at 120Hz and includes a 2,500Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. The phone aims for a target of 90fps for BGMI gaming.

The Realme Narzo 80 Pro also emphasizes battery life with a 6,000mAh capacity. It is expected to last nearly 12 hours during BGMI gameplay, and over 18 hours when streaming YouTube on a single charge.

With 80W fast charging, just 10 minutes of charging can provide up to 3 hours of gameplay. Alternatively, you can play while plugged in using bypass charging, which is gentler on the battery and reduces heat generation.
