Batting at No 6, Dravid senior scored 10 runs off eight balls, including a boundary, while Anvay delivered an impressive performance with 58 runs off 60 balls, hitting eight fours as Vijaya posted a total of 345 for seven against Young Lions Club. Swapnil emerged as the leading run-scorer for the club, smashing 107 runs from 50 balls, with 12 fours and four sixes. Anvay plays as a wicketkeeper-batter, while Dravid’s elder son, Samit, is known as a pace-bowling all-rounder.
For the Young Lions, AG Aditya claimed four wickets, finishing with figures of 4/60.
Dravid, who had been in Guwahati for the Rajasthan Royals’ pre-season camp, returned to the city just a couple of days prior.
