The design resembles the iPhone 14 at the front and the iPhone XR at the back. Prices start at $599 for 128 GB, going up to $899 for 512 GB.

While the internal specifications may be on par with flagship models, the exterior design of the iPhone 16e resembles that of the iPhone 14 at the front, featuring a wide notch, and takes its single rear camera styling from the iPhone XR (the design is more closely related to the previous SE, which draws inspiration from the eight-year-old iPhone 8).
