Poco F7 Ultra Achieves High Geekbench AI Scores with a Cutting-Edge SoC

Poco is set to refresh its F line with the Poco F7 Ultra, which recently passed Geekbench testing under model number 24122RKC7G. This marks the first Ultra model for Poco, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and featuring 16GB of RAM. It will run Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS. The F7 Ultra achieved notable benchmark scores and is rumored to have a 6.67-inch 2K OLED display, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a 6,000 mAh battery, and fast charging capabilities. The camera setup may include a 50 MP main sensor, ultrawide, zoom telephoto, and a 20 MP selfie camera.

Poco’s flagship F line is set for an update soon, as the F6 and F6 Pro were officially released back in May of last year. Notably, this year marks the introduction of an Ultra branded variant for the first time – the F7 Ultra.

Recently, it appears that this model has appeared on Geekbench AI under the model number 24122RKC7G. This specific model number was earlier confirmed to be associated with the Poco F7 Ultra when it received certification for sale in Indonesia in January. The “G” at the end indicates that it’s a global model.

The Poco F7 Ultra is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, as indicated by the benchmark results. The prototype that was tested featured 16GB of RAM, although other variants may also be available at launch. The device will launch with Android 15 pre-loaded, featuring Xiaomi’s HyperOS on top.

In terms of performance, it scored 2,667 in Single Precision, 2,645 in Half Precision, and 4,866 in Quantized Score. Previous leaks suggested it would feature a 6.67-inch flat OLED display with “2K” resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, up to 1TB of storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The camera configuration may include a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 32 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP 2x zoom telephoto with OIS, and a 20 MP front-facing camera. There have been ongoing rumors that the Poco F7 Ultra will essentially be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro.
