Recently, Google hosted its three-day Google Cloud Next Conference 2025 in Las Vegas, where the smartphone brand Oppo introduced its Agentic AI Initiative and discussed its strategy to excel in AI experiences through internal development and partnerships with Google.
Oppo also demonstrated AI Search during the conference. This system-level AI tool, powered by Google Cloud, enables users to effectively search for and retrieve complex multimodal document information using natural language queries. Furthermore, the brand emphasized its progress in AI Productivity, AI Imaging, and AI Creativity.
“Oppo’s commitment has always been centered on the user, with a clear objective: to drive innovation in AI experiences and deliver the best possible service. We are continuously improving AI interactions through strategic collaborations with partners like Google Cloud, with the goal of providing Agentic AI capabilities to our users,” stated Jason Liao, President of Oppo Research Institute.
Oppo also mentioned that it is exploring the next phase of Agentic AI experiences, with a focus on developing personalized user interactions.
The company is working on a new user knowledge system that will function as a central repository for user data, aiming to resolve the issue of information fragmentation on mobile devices. This system will learn from user activities, interests, data, and memories to deliver tailored AI experiences.
By the end of this year, Oppo aims to have 100 million users benefiting from Oppo AI for enhanced daily interactions with their devices, including the newly launched Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
