Oppo’s product manager for the Find series, Zhou Yibao, recently confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra is set to launch in April, along with its charging specifications and water resistance features.
He has returned today with a rarity – essentially confirming a comprehensive list of specifications released by the well-known Weibo account, Digital Chat Station.
Oppo Find X8 Pro
So, here’s what Oppo has effectively confirmed. The Find X8 Ultra will feature a flat “2K” resolution display with ultra-slim symmetrical bezels on all sides and will include an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
On the rear, it will house two periscope telephoto cameras, one providing 3x optical zoom and the other offering 6x. One of these cameras will also serve as a macro shooter. The device will be approximately 8.xx mm thick and will sport a faux leather finish, in addition to incorporating a custom vibration motor.
While Digital Chat Station initially reported the battery capacity as 6,000 mAh, Zhou clarified that it will actually be “a little bigger” than 6,000 mAh. Unfortunately for us, there are rumors suggesting that the Find X8 Ultra may not receive an international launch.
