Oppo is developing the A5x, which will join the growing A5 family that already features the A5, A5 Energy, A5 Pro, and A5 Pro 4G.
According to recently leaked marketing materials, the A5x will be a 4G-only device. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone is expected to showcase a display (likely LCD) with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, along with a robust 6,000 mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.
The device will feature an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, and Oppo is promoting its military-grade shock resistance. The phone will sport a white/silver color scheme with a subtle gradient hue of pink and blue.
On the rear, there will be two cameras, a dual-LED flash, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The device will run Android 15 with ColorOS 15 overlay. The audio output (whether one or two speakers is unclear) will offer an “Ultra Volume” feature that enhances volume by 300%.
These are the leaked specifications available so far, but we can expect more information about the A5x to emerge in the days and weeks ahead, so stay tuned.
