The Nothing Phone (3a) launches this week, offering a mid-range option under €400 with a 6.77” 1080p+ display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery with 50W charging. It features a 50MP main, 50MP telephoto, 8MP ultra-wide, and 32MP selfie cameras. The upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will include advanced camera features and an eSIM. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 drops to €750, and the Realme GT 6T sees a significant 40% price reduction. Additionally, the Galaxy S24 FE is highlighted for its performance and additional features compared to the upcoming Galaxy A56.
This week marks the debut of the Nothing Phone (3a), coinciding with significant price reductions on several older and newer devices.
The Nothing Phone (3a) is positioned as a mid-range option and comes in two versions, each priced below €400. True to Nothing’s style, it features a large 6.77” 1080p+ display (120Hz, 10-bit, HDR10+, 3,000 nits). Instead of using a Dimensity chip, they opted for a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for this model. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 50W wired-only charging.
The camera system consists of a 50MP main lens (1/1.57”, OIS) alongside a 50MP 50mm telephoto (2x), complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 32MP front-facing camera. For camera samples, be sure to check our hands-on review. If you’re looking for even more camera capabilities, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will be available in a couple of weeks.
Speaking of the upcoming models, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro features an enhanced telephoto camera – a 70mm periscope with OIS (essential for longer focal lengths) and a 50MP sensor. The primary camera integrates Dual Pixel AF, while the selfie camera is upgraded to a 50MP sensor capable of capturing 4K video at 30fps (compared to the 1080p limit of the standard (3a)). Additionally, the Pro version supports eSIM functionality, which is increasingly vital for travelers. Don’t forget, you can also snag a pair of Nothing Ear (a) TWS earbuds for only €14 more (typically priced at €80 alone).

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 is set to be succeeded by its next iteration in a few months, but in the meantime, its price has seen a considerable decrease, now standing at €750, which is €150 less than its price at the start of February.

The Realme GT 6T has experienced a dramatic price reduction of 40%. For this, you receive an LTPO display (6.78”, 1264p, 10-bit, 120Hz, 6,000 nits) alongside a powerful Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. While the camera performance isn’t groundbreaking (50+8MP rear, 32MP front), the 5,500mAh battery is quite impressive, supporting fast 120W wired-only charging.

If you’re seeking a flagship experience, consider the Realme GT 7 Pro, the larger sibling of the 6T. It boasts a similar LTPO display (with slightly higher brightness and Dolby Vision support) and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The camera system has been enhanced as well, featuring a 50MP 73mm telephoto lens, along with a larger main sensor capable of 8K video at 30fps. Plus, the battery capacity is increased to 6,500mAh, also supporting 120W wired charging.

While we await the release of the Galaxy A56 from Samsung, let’s take a closer look at the Galaxy S24 FE. It comes with a slightly higher price tag – the A56 starts at €480 for 128GB and €530 for 256GB. However, it offers more value for the price. The S24 FE features a faster chipset (Exynos 2400e compared to the 1580), superior water resistance (IP68 versus IP67), a telephoto camera (8MP 75mm), and a USB-C port that supports DeX output to an external display. Note that while the S24 FE has a smaller battery (4,700mAh compared to 5,000mAh) and a slower wired charging speed (25W vs. 45W), it does also support wireless charging at 15W.
