Odell Beckham Jr. finds himself in the news as a named defendant in a lawsuit against Diddy for alleged sexual assault, as reported by USA Today. Beckham has publicly denied the allegations, stating he is shocked to be included in the suit and asserting he has never met the accuser or been near the location mentioned. He is confident that the claims will be dismissed and his name cleared. Beckham, a first-round pick in 2014, has played for various teams, including the Giants and Browns, and was released by the Dolphins in the 2024 season.
Although his name may not come up in any of this week’s transactions, mainly because he has been a free agent for several months, Odell Beckham Jr. is making headlines for another reason. He has been added to a pending lawsuit against Diddy that alleges sexual assault.
Taijuan Moorman from USA Today brings the details about the new allegations made by Ashley Parham against various parties.
In response to the allegations, Beckham has publicly denied them via a Twitter post.
“I have been made aware of the allegations concerning me in a suit in [California],” Beckham shared. “I can hardly believe my name is linked to this case. There is absolutely no truth to these claims. I do not know and have never met the individual who filed the suit. I was not present in Orinda, CA at that time. In fact, I don’t even think I have ever been to Orinda, CA. I have never engaged in such behavior, and I would never act in that way towards anyone. I am confident that these absurd accusations against me will be dismissed.”
The case will continue until it is dismissed, and Beckham’s legal team will utilize every resource available to secure Beckham’s full and complete exoneration.
A first-round pick by the Giants in 2014, Beckham has also played for the Browns, Rams, Ravens, and Dolphins. He was released by the Dolphins during the 2024 season, following the trade deadline.
