At this year’s MWC, ZTE unveiled several new products, including budget gaming smartphones nubia Neo 3 and Neo 3 GT, along with the global launch of the nubia Flip2 foldable phone. The Neo 3 features a Unisoc T8300 chipset and a 6.8-inch 120Hz display, while the Neo 3 GT upgrades to a Unisoc T9100 and AMOLED screen. The nubia Focus 2 offers a 108MP camera and AI enhancements, while the Focus 2 Ultra boasts a larger sensor. Additionally, ZTE introduced the Red Magic Pad 3D Explorer Edition tablet, known for its glasses-free 3D display and powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
This year’s MWC has proven to be quite exciting for ZTE, as the company unveiled several new products, including two budget gaming smartphones named nubia Neo 3 and Neo 3 GT, the global launch of the nubia Flip2 clamshell foldable, two new camera-focused smartphones called nubia Focus 2 and Focus 2 Ultra, and the introduction of the Red Magic Pad 3D Explorer Edition tablet.

The nubia Neo 3 and Neo 3 GT are anticipated to be budget-friendly devices, equipped with touch-sensitive shoulder triggers and large displays featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The Neo 3 is powered by a Unisoc T8300 chipset and boasts a 6.8-inch 120Hz display. Depending on the region, it includes a 5,200 or 6,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The Neo 3 GT features an upgraded Unisoc T9100 chipset, complete with a 4,082 mm2 vapor chamber for enhanced cooling. It also maintains the 6.8″ size and 120Hz refresh rate, but switches to an OLED display. The battery is either 5,000 or 6,000 mAh, depending on the market.
nubia Neo 3 GT
The nubia Focus 2 features an impressive 108MP main camera paired with a 6.7-inch display. Improved AI functionalities for the camera, such as AI Sport Snapshot, enhance the photographic quality. On the other hand, the nubia Focus 2 Ultra elevates the game with a larger 1/1.55″ sensor and a fast f/1.47 aperture. It has a 6.8″ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, alongside a rotating bezel around the rear camera for zooming capabilities.

Regarding the nubia Flip2, it was previously announced in mid-January, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and a 6.9-inch, 120Hz foldable OLED display. This handset is set to be one of the most affordable foldable options available globally, with a starting price of €699 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
nubia Focus 2 Ultra
Finally, nubia introduced a gaming tablet named Red Magic Pad 3D Explorer Edition. This device is powered by the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and features a 12.1-inch display. It includes a robust 10,000 mAh battery to keep it running.
The designation “Pad 3D” refers to the tablet’s glasses-free 3D display. It can also utilize AI to convert 2D images into 3D effects for both photos and videos. Previously, this device was recognized as the nubia Pad 3D II.
