New Rumor Suggests Oppo Find X8 Mini Will Feature Sleek, Slim Design

The Oppo Find X8 Mini, set to launch alongside the Find X8 Ultra in March or April, weighs between 180g and 189g and is rumored to be very thin, with a thickness ranging from 7 mm to 7.99 mm. This makes it slightly thinner than the vivo X200 Pro mini. The device is expected to feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom. Additionally, it will include a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, a resolution of 1,216 x 2,640, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC.

The Oppo Find X8 Mini, evidently taking cues from the popularity of the vivo X200 Pro mini, is rumored to debut alongside the Find X8 Ultra in March or April, with speculations suggesting that this compact device will weigh between 180g and 189g.

Additionally, reports indicate that it will feature a very slim profile, and a new rumor from China has provided more clarity on its thickness. It is expected to start from 7 mm, placing it in the thickness range of 7 mm to 7.99 mm. This puts it in line with the Samsung Galaxy S25, which has a thickness of 7.2 mm, making the Find X8 Mini approximately 1 mm thinner than the previously mentioned vivo X200 Pro mini.

While it may not rival the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge or iPhone 17 Air in terms of design, it should still be slender enough for many users. Furthermore, the phone is rumored to feature a 50 MP main rear camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor, OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP periscope camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

The Find X8 Mini is expected to come with a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED flat display, offering a resolution of 1,216 x 2,640 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, alongside an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC, and OnePlus may release a version of this smartphone under its brand in the coming months.
