The Breakthrough Innovation award highlights key advancements in core hardware and software within devices. This category focuses on processors, cameras, displays, and related technology, with Gemini winning over the jury thanks to its generative AI features aimed at consumers. Other notable nominees included Galaxy AI, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and the tri-fold hinge featured in the Huawei Mate XT.
The best-connected consumer device category showcases a wide range of mobile products, gadgets, services, solutions, and applications. The Mega Mini Gaming G1, the world’s smallest water-cooled mini gaming PC, won this award, featuring an Intel Core i9-13900H processor and a GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, retailing for $1,699 and available on the market for several months.
Finally, the Best in Show category recognizes products and devices unveiled at the Mobile World Congress. While several devices captured attention at the Gran Via in Barcelona, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra emerged as the most compelling product for consumers.
