Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Release Date Revealed Alongside Essential Features

Motorola is set to launch the Edge 60 Fusion on April 2 in India, featuring the Dimensity 7400 chipset, making it the first device in the country with this technology. The phone boasts a 6.7″ OLED display (1200p resolution) with curved edges, peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Its 50 MP primary camera, validated by Pantone, emphasizes true-color photography. With an IP68/IP69 rating and military-grade MIL-810H certification, the phone is designed for durability. It includes a 5,500 mAh battery with 68W charging, running on Hello UI based on Android 15, with support for 3 OS updates. Pricing is expected around INR 24,000.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with a 6.7″ OLED display boasting a resolution of 1200p. The screen features a sleek curve on all four edges and achieves a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 7i.

For the main camera, it is expected to utilize a 50 MP Sony-LYT 700C sensor, which is “validated by Pantone,” indicating a true-color mode in the Photo Settings. The Edge 60 Fusion will also offer enhanced durability with an IP68 and IP69 rating, as well as military-grade MIL-810H certification.

The device will feature a robust 5,500 mAh battery with support for 68W wired charging. Motorola plans to ship the Edge 60 Fusion with Hello UI, based on Android 15, guaranteeing three OS updates and four years of security updates.

There are rumors suggesting that the smartphone will be priced around €350 in Europe, which roughly converts to INR30,000 in India. However, prices in the South Asian market typically run about 20% lower, leading to an expected starting price of approximately INR 24,000.
