Milwaukee Brewers’ First Home Game: Facing Off Against the Kansas City Royals

Brewers vs. Kansas City Royals

Here’s what we know:

The Brewers are looking to end a three-game losing streak as they face off against the Kansas City Royals. The first pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m.

Last season, Milwaukee finished with a record of 93-69, including 47-34 at home. The Brewers averaged 4.8 runs per game while conceding 4.0 runs per game.

Kansas City concluded its previous season with an 86-76 overall record, including 41-40 on the road. The Royals’ pitching staff recorded a collective ERA of 3.76 and averaged 8.5 strikeouts per nine innings in the 2024 season.

The Brewers will host the Royals for a three-game series from March 31 to April 2, followed by a four-game match-up against the Cincinnati Reds from April 3 to 6.  

According to a news release, the 2025 home opener will feature several tributes, including a signature by Ueck across the outfield grass, a moment of silence, and the Milwaukee debut of the Uecker jersey patch on all on-field personnel jerseys.

Parking lots and gates

Here’s what we know:

Parking lots will open at 10:10 a.m. (three hours before game time), and the ballpark gates will open at 11:10 a.m. (two hours ahead of the game). Parking ambassadors will be available to assist guests in starting their parking sessions.

Ceremonial First Pitch 

Here’s what we know:

The ceremonial first pitch will take place around 1:02 p.m., with Karl Simandl representing the Wounded Warrior Project and Dr. Kent Botsford of the ALS Association throwing the pitches as part of the 2025 Home Opener festivities.

Here’s what we know:

Fans are invited to visit the pedestrian bridge for trivia sessions led by In-Game Hosts Nicole Sedivy and Carrie Mahone, take photos in the Brew Crew photo booth, and meet Brewers mascots who will make appearances throughout the morning.

The pregame entertainment will feature performances from the drumline of Ronald Reagan High School, Rufus King High School, and South Division High School, as well as dance performances by the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies and Lake Country Dockettes.
