Millie Bobby Brown recently guest-starred on the SmartLess podcast, where she opened up about her journey toward motherhood. Reflecting on her own upbringing, Millie shared, “My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. This has been my dream even before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just like my mom was to me.”

She revealed that Jake shares her views. “Jake understands how important this is for me. Sure, I want to focus on fully establishing myself as an actor and producer, but starting a family is also a vital goal for me personally,” Millie stated.

While Millie was eager to begin a family immediately, Jake proposed waiting until after their marriage. “Jake said we can’t start a family until we’re married. That was his viewpoint. For me, I sincerely want a family. I envision a large family; I’m one of four siblings, and he is too. So, it’s undoubtedly in our future,” the actress noted.

Millie also mentioned that adoption might be part of their family plan. “I don’t view having a biological child as being any different from adopting. I believe that love is plentiful in my home for anyone and anything,” she expressed. Millie further emphasized that she and Jake are “always going to want to start a family. The specifics of how or when don’t matter; it will happen.”

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi became engaged in April 2023 and celebrated their marriage in 2024.
