The Medal of Honor plane is scheduled to arrive at DFW Wednesday afternoon, with the motorcade expected to depart around 4 p.m.
A large number of law enforcement officials, first responders, and patriotic motorcycle riders are anticipated to join the motorcade as it leaves the airport. The route will take it through Grapevine, Southlake, Northlake, and into Fort Worth as it travels north on I-35W.
Southlake police plan to close access to the “Texas turnaround” section of the Carroll Avenue bridge over Highway 114 starting at 3:30 p.m. today. This will provide spectators with a safe place to view the motorcade.
