Essential Qualifications and Experience

Deputy General Manager

For candidates currently in Government/Public Sector Undertakings: A minimum of 16 years of post-qualification experience (including at least 4 years in a listed company) in an executive role in the relevant area within a Government company/Public Sector Undertaking, with at least 03 years’ experience in a position and scale of Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E6 grade or above of NTPC executives from 01.01.2017).

For candidates currently employed in the Private Sector: A minimum of 16 years of post-qualification experience (including at least 4 years in a listed company) in an executive role in the relevant area within a reputable private company.

Manager

• For candidates currently in Government/Public Sector Undertakings: A minimum of 11 years of post-qualification experience (including at least 2 years in a listed company) in an executive role in the relevant area within a Government company/Public Sector Undertaking, with at least 03 years’ experience in a position and scale of Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E4 grade or above of NTPC executives from 01.01.2017).

• For candidates currently in the Private Sector: A minimum of 11 years of post-qualification experience (including at least 2 years in a listed company) in an executive role in the relevant area within a reputable private company.

Deputy Manager

• For candidates currently in Government/Public Sector Undertakings: A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification experience in the executive role in the relevant area within a Government company/Public Sector Undertaking, with at least 03 years of experience in a position and scale of Rs. 60,000 – 1,80,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E3 grade or above of NTPC executives from 01.01.2017).

• For candidates currently in the Private Sector: A minimum of 9 years of post-qualification experience in the executive role in the relevant area within a reputable private company.

Assistant Manager

• For candidates currently in Government/Public Sector Undertakings: A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in the executive role in the relevant area within a Government company/Public Sector Undertaking, with at least 03 years of experience in a position and scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 or above (IDA pay scale of E2 grade or above of NTPC executives from 01.01.2017).

• For candidates currently in the Private Sector: A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience in the executive role in the relevant area within a reputable private company.

Essential experience profile for all positions mentioned above: (a) The candidate must have comprehensive knowledge regarding Company Law, Corporate & Secretarial functions, and institutional finance. (b) The candidate should be familiar with the provisions and regulations of the Companies Act as well as SEBI rules & regulations. (c) The candidate should possess experience in handling Board matters such as organizing Board & general meetings, drafting and presentation of Board memoranda/agendas and minutes, compliance listings, as well as drafting and reviewing agreements related to joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, and company incorporations. (d) The candidate should demonstrate strong drafting, communication, and liaison skills, and (e) A law degree from a recognized university / Chartered Accountant / Cost & Management Accountant will be an added advantage.
