The global icon and 11-time American Music Award-winner will also perform live for the first time on television since 2018. This year’s American Music Awards will kick off the summer season with host Jennifer Lopez at the luxurious Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. Celebrating 50 years in music, Jackson continues to influence, notably with the recent viral sensation of her Billboard 100 dance track “Someone To Call My Lover,” which has made its way back onto the Billboard charts nearly 24 years after its release, reaching #3 on the R&B Digital Songs chart and demonstrating a remarkable 1,400% increase in year-to-date U.S. on-demand streams as reported by Luminate.
