iPhone 16e surfaces on Geekbench featuring 8GB of RAM

Apple has begun pre-orders for the new iPhone 16e, recently spotted in certifications. On Geekbench, the 16e, identified as iPhone 17,5, achieved scores of 2,706 for single-core and 7,942 for multi-core performance, reflecting a 17% decrease in single-core performance compared to the iPhone 16. The device features 8GB of RAM, meeting Apple Intelligence’s system requirements. Additionally, the iPhone 16e was confirmed on China’s 3C certification, indicating it supports charging speeds of up to 29W, consistent with the iPhone 16 series.

Apple officially began pre-orders for its latest iPhone 16e today, and coincidentally, the device was also found in a couple of certification listings.

The 16e was identified on Geekbench under the alias iPhone 17,5, achieving scores of 2,706 for single-core performance and 7,942 for multi-core. The binned A18 chip within the 16e shows a 17% decrease in single-core performance compared to the iPhone 16, although the multi-core scores remain nearly the same.
