This device will feature “scent-tech,” a novel approach that allows the phone to emit a fragrance from its rear panel. It’s certainly an innovative feature (not just a gimmick), employing microencapsulation technology that encapsulates fragrance molecules in tiny capsules.
The capsules are embedded in the phone’s faux leather back and will gradually release a light, refreshing aroma over time. The scent will be subtle and is expected to last around six months, although its intensity and duration may vary depending on usage and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

We aim to innovate. One such innovation is this Energizing Scent-Tech. It’s not just about having an attractive phone; it should smell good too. There’s a lot of technology involved. Everyone desires to smell nice and to be surrounded by pleasant aromas. If we can have something that smells good in our hands, why not?
The smartphone will be available in three colors, but only the Marine Drift Blue variant will have the scent-infused feature. The Infinix India CEO has indicated that the Note 50s 5G+ will retail for under INR 20,000.
