Infinix Xpad GT Launches This Month Featuring an Unusual Chipset

Infinix is set to launch its first gaming-oriented tablet, the Xpad GT, at the end of the month, alongside the GT 30 Pro smartphone featuring the Dimensity 8350 SoC. This new device will be part of a broader GT lineup, which also includes GT Buds with 30dB ANC, Zclip earbuds with a 6.5-hour battery, and a GT power bank with 55W fast charging. The Xpad GT will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 144 Hz display, a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, and eight speakers, optimized for multitasking with the Folax AI assistant.

Infinix released its inaugural tablet, the Xpad, last year, and in March, we learned that it was developing the Xpad GT, set to be its first gaming-focused tablet. This is confirmed and is expected to launch by the end of the month, alongside the GT 30 Pro smartphone, which was spotted in the Geekbench database last month featuring the Dimensity 8350 SoC.

However, it’s not only about the smartphone and tablet – Infinix will also unveil the GT Buds, equipped with 30dB ANC and a low-latency Game Mode, Zclip earbuds boasting a clip-on design and a 6.5-hour battery life, and the GT power bank that offers 55W multi-device fast charging and AI thermal management. A portable cooling fan also appears to be in the works.

As a result, Infinix will have a significantly expanded GT family. The Xpad GT features a peculiar chipset selection – the Snapdragon 888, which is from 2020. It’s accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet sports a 144 Hz refresh rate display, a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging, eight speakers, and, naturally, the Folax AI assistant integrated. It will be optimized for larger-screen interactions and multitasking.
