Infant Reportedly Dies During Raid in Rajasthan; Family Files Complaint Against Two Police Officers

The family alleges that officers stepped on the infant while she was sleeping beside her mother, leading to her immediate death. The mother claimed she was pushed out when she tried to intervene, and there were no female officers present during the incident. The family has filed a complaint against two policemen. An infant just one month old tragically passed away allegedly during a police operation in Alwar district, Rajasthan, as reported by an official on Sunday. The family has since lodged a complaint against two police officers regarding the incident.

According to Additional SP Tejpal Singh, the police had visited a residence in the Naugawan police station area on Saturday to arrest a suspect in a cyber fraud case.

Family members claim that the officers trampled on the infant girl, Alisba, who was resting on a cot next to her mother.

The infant sustained fatal injuries at the scene. When her mother attempted to step in, the police reportedly pushed her out of the home.

The family also asserted that there were no female officers present during the operation.

In response to the alleged misconduct, villagers gathered outside the residence of the Alwar Superintendent of Police today, protesting and calling for action against the implicated officers.

The additional SP stated that the case is under investigation.
