Ice Universe: The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ is lighter and nearly as slim as the Galaxy S25 Edge.

The newly launched Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge features an ultra-slim design at 5.8mm, facing competition from the upcoming Infinix Hot 60 Pro+, which measures approximately 5.95mm. A comparison video reveals the Infinix is lighter at 154.6g versus the Galaxy’s 163.8g. However, details on the Hot 60 Pro+’s battery capacity remain undisclosed, while the S25 Edge has a 3,900mAh battery. Last year’s Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ was thicker at 6.8mm but housed a 5,000mAh battery. Infinix has yet to confirm the Hot 60 Pro+’s launch date.

Is thin really in? The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has made its debut with an impressively slim profile of just 5.8mm thick, and soon it will face some competition. This time, we’re not referring to the iPhone 17 Air, but rather the Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ – Ice Universe has shared a comparison video featuring both devices.

The Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ boasts a thickness under 6mm, measuring at approximately 5.95mm, though the calipers utilized in the video only display one decimal point. This translates to about 0.2mm more than the S25 Edge, depending on its precise dimensions.

Next, both devices were weighed, and surprisingly, the Infinix phone comes out lighter at 154.6g compared to the 163.8g of the Galaxy. This is quite an achievement for the Infinix team, but it raises the question – what type of battery is housed inside the Hot 60 Pro+?

Regrettably, The Cat has yet to disclose any details regarding the battery capacity. Samsung has managed to incorporate a 3,900mAh battery into the frame of the Galaxy S25 Edge, making it a challenge that the Infinix doesn’t have to exceed by much. The previous model, the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+, measured 6.8mm in thickness, weighed 162g, and packed a 5,000mAh battery. However, that device is from last year, and cutting-edge high-density Si/C batteries have become increasingly prevalent.

It looks like we’ll need to be patient, as Infinix has yet to officially acknowledge the Hot 60 Pro+, let alone announce a release date.
