New Delhi:

Saif Ali Khan was assaulted by an intruder during a robbery attempt at his residence last month. Following this incident, the actor underwent two significant surgeries at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital.

Recently, Saif Ali Khan’s brother-in-law, Kunal Kemmu, expressed his thoughts about the shocking event. In an interview with ANI, Kunal – who is married to Saif’s sister Soha Ali Khan – revealed that he received the news around 6 AM and promptly informed Soha. At that moment, the couple was occupied with getting their daughter, Inaaya, ready for school.

Kunal Kemmu mentioned, “The first question was, is Saif okay? And once we confirmed that he was out of danger, none of the subsequent discussions seemed to matter because that was the only thing of importance.”

The actor-director further remarked, “It’s intriguing how fear operates. I had to convey this to her (Soha Ali Khan). We were preparing our daughter for school while grappling with this information. Should I send my daughter to school now or not? All these thoughts were swirling in my mind.”

“So we (Kunal and Soha) decided to send her (Inaaya) to school, and then I said we needed to go there, and that’s when we gradually began to understand what had actually occurred,” Kunal added.

Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu were married in 2015 and welcomed their daughter, Inaaya, in 2017.
