According to an official support page, the Humane Ai Pins will cease to connect to its servers after 12 PM PST on Friday, February 28, rendering the devices largely non-functional. In addition, Humane will discontinue calling, messaging, and Ai queries/responses, along with cloud access.
Owners of Ai Pins are advised to back up all their data and anything saved on the .Center platform before the impending shutdown next week. Humane has confirmed that it will permanently erase user data stored on its servers after 12 PM PST on February 28.
Humane’s subscription service, which provided users with data coverage through T-Mobile, will be automatically terminated after February 28. Additionally, Humane has stated it will provide refunds for Ai Pins purchased within the 90-day return period from the original shipment date. Buyers have until February 27 to request a refund.
HP has confirmed its intention to integrate Humane’s CosmOS platform across various devices, including PCs, printers, and connected conference rooms. Furthermore, HP plans to bring Humane’s engineers, architects, and product innovators into its AI innovation lab for future projects and service developments.
