Honor Magic V4’s Release Schedule Revealed

Oppo has officially launched the Find N5, now the world’s thinnest bi-fold foldable smartphone, surpassing the Honor Magic V3. While the Huawei Mate XT remains thinner when unfolded, the Find N5 leads in its single-fold category. Honor is reportedly developing the Magic V4, expected to debut in June, possibly thinner than the N5. This release will precede vivo’s X Fold4 and coincide with Honor’s busy schedule, which includes the launch of the 400 series, GT Pro, and Magic V Flip2. The trend of earlier device announcements remains typical in the smartphone industry.

Today, Oppo officially announced the Find N5, which is now recognized as the world’s slimmest single-folding/bi-fold foldable smartphone. Although the Huawei Mate XT is thinner when unfolded, it features a two-fold or “tri-fold” design. The Find N5 has dethroned the Honor Magic V3; however, it’s worth noting that the Honor device was released last year, and the company is already in the process of developing its successor.

While it remains uncertain whether the Magic V4 will surpass the Find N5 in terms of thickness, a recent rumor from China suggests that we can expect Honor’s upcoming foldable to debut in the first half of the year, potentially around June.

Honor Magic V3

If this timeline holds true, it would be a month ahead of the V3’s release. However, it’s not unusual for smartphone manufacturers to unveil their new devices earlier in the year compared to previous models.

Following the Magic V4, vivo is set to launch the X Fold4, and according to today’s rumor, Honor itself has a packed schedule for the middle of the year, with plans to introduce the 400 series, the GT Pro, and the Magic V Flip2 as well.
