The Honor 400 series is expected to launch mid-year alongside the Honor Magic V4. Recent leaks reveal details about the devices’ displays: one will feature a 6.5-inch “1.5K” flat screen, while another will have a larger 6.78-inch “1.5K” quad-curved display with symmetrical bezels. Both models are anticipated to include a robust 7,000 mAh battery and will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. There are rumors that the Honor 400 Pro may adopt a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, and Honor is considering introducing smaller 6.3-inch screens for this lineup as well.
Rumors suggest that the Honor 400 series is expected to launch around mid-year, coinciding with the anticipated unveiling of the Honor Magic V4. Earlier this month, leaks provided insights into the chipsets for the Honor 400 devices, and today, additional leaks from China reveal more about their display features.
The Honor 400 is set to feature a 6.5-inch “1.5K” flat screen, while another version will include a 6.78-inch “1.5K” display characterized by a quad-curved design with evenly symmetrical bezels on all sides.
Honor 300 Pro
Both models will be equipped with batteries boasting a capacity of at least 7,000 mAh and will be driven by the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. This chipset isn’t unexpected for the Honor 400, considering that the 300 series utilized its predecessor. However, the Pro variant of this mid-range lineup has traditionally employed an older Qualcomm 8 series SoC, and earlier rumors also suggested that the Honor 400 Pro would feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
It seems likely that a new entrant will emerge. Whether this new device will be named Honor 400 Mini or something similar, or if the 400 will retain the 6.5-inch display with the larger Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 model taking a different name, is still uncertain. Interestingly, the source of this information indicates that Honor is also considering even smaller displays for this lineup, potentially down to 6.3″, which appears to be the new “mini” trend favored by Chinese smartphone manufacturers these days.
